(Post 22/10/2005) Aptech had concluded ‘Synergy 2002’ - its first ever world education meet, for its technology and business partners from across the globe. The meet was aimed to bring Aptech’s international partners, alliance partners and business partners, under a single roof to focus and elaborate on the emerging trends and issues concerned with the global IT training and education scenario. During ‘Synergy 2002’, Aptech signed up with Rogerio Drummond, Campinas, Sao Paulo, to set up its first training centre in Brazil. Aptech also signed up with Yousef Albader, Albader Trading LLC, Kuwait and Dr Abdullah El- Saied Tolba, Egypt for setting up centres in Kuwait and Egypt respectively. Pramod Khera, CEO, Aptech training and education said, “By signing up Brazil, Kuwait and Egypt our operations now include 52 countries across the world. This is a proud moment for Aptech, not just as the first Indian company but also the world’s first and only IT training major to reach this mark. On the concluding day of ‘Synergy 2002’, select Aptech business partners were awarded for excellence in the field of IT education. Two global awards were instituted - the ‘Global Manager Award’ and the ‘Best International Centre Award’. The criteria for selection were, growth in business, adaptation to systems, achievement of budgeted targets, quality certifications and attainment of leadership position. - Aptech Vietnam was conferred the ‘Aptech Global Award for Best Centre’.
